Northern York County Regional Police Department Project

Millcreek Fence recently completed a large-scale commercial security fencing project in Northern York County, PA for the Northern York County Regional Police Department. This project was designed to enhance perimeter security, control access points, and provide long-lasting, low-maintenance fencing solutions for a high-traffic municipal facility.

High-Security Perimeter Fencing Installation

As part of this project, our team installed 870 linear feet of 8-foot-tall BA Steel semi-private security fencing around the facility’s perimeter. This type of fencing is ideal for commercial and government properties, offering a strong balance of visibility and security while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

The increased height and durable steel construction provide an added layer of protection, helping secure the property while still allowing for necessary visibility.

Automated Security Gates for Controlled Access

To further enhance site security, Millcreek Fence supplied and installed four Wallace Security FoldSmart bi-folding speed gates at key access points around the police station.

These high-speed security gates are designed for facilities that require:

• Controlled entry and exit points
• Fast operation for emergency and daily use
• Reliable performance in high-traffic environments

The FoldSmart system allows for efficient vehicle access while maintaining strict perimeter control—making it an ideal solution for police stations, municipal buildings, and other secure facilities.

Retention Pond Safety Fencing

In addition to the primary perimeter fencing, our team installed 630 linear feet of 4-foot-tall chain-link fencing with a galvanized frame and black vinyl fabric around the site’s retention pond.

This portion of the project provides:

• Added safety and containment
• Durability in outdoor conditions
• A clean, cohesive look that complements the surrounding property
